Helen Boutilier-Inglis

Stained Glass

Light and colour have always drawn Helen's attention, whether touring medieval churches in Europe, exploring the jungles of South America and Asia, or visiting art galleries and studios. Working with stained glass opened the door for Helen to the excitement and passion that comes from translating concepts and ideas into creations.

Helen's designs and creations convey her love of colour, texture and light, often incorporating "found" items and "treasures" to add perspective, depth and complexity. Her influences include Charles Rennie Macintosh, Frank Lloyd Wright, Piet Mondrian and Benjamin Chee Chee. Series of works include Hearts For Windows (for so many reasons), Trees, Dreams, Heritage Glass, Camera Lenses, Make Mine A Double, Out of Chaos and many privacy screens.

Helen's work is on display in homes across Canada, the United States, England, New Zealand, and Australia.
