Rosalie grew up in a family of artists on the South Shore of Montreal. It was during her visual arts studies at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal that she first developed her love for working with clay.

In 2009, she moved to the Outaouais region, where she earned a bachelor's degree in art education. It was also here that she discovered wheel-thrown pottery. Since ceramics can be an often unpredictable medium, she turned to painting a few years after beginning her ceramic practice, seeking a little more control over her creative process.

Her studio is located in Chelsea, where she also lives with her family.
